Not sure if this is an excuse or not but if I had to put some money on it, I would say that Rossi is pushing strictly for race set up with no other concerns yet i.e. qualifying/or fastest lap, while Hayden is working on the fast lap and qual pace. I believe that these 2 are in fact sharing data and while some are looking at failure now, it was always said that later in the season (mid) was when they believe they would be fighting at or close to the front. Both these guys know they do not have a podium bike right now except in poor conditions and they have not said otherwise. PS Success is actually achieved through a bunch of failures. But this is the nature of testing and working on a formula. With that said, it is disheartening to see Rossi so low on the timesheets but the race will be different short of a crash or something. Go Ben Spies! Think he could win it!
