When Stoner was winning on the Ducati, it was claimed because he had a top speed advantage. It was all because of the bike. Some delusional people on this site still make that claim. Well the current 2012 Duke has the top three speeds in Qatar so far. 1. Hayden (Ducati) 338.8 2. Barbera (Ducati) 338.3 3. Rossi (Ducati) 337.4 Going by those old top speed claims, the Duke should blast everyone to oblivion this year. But we know it aint going to happen.
