Indeed Pedrosa had the wrong strategy, he could have done what Marquez did to Iannone on that last lap if he had gone past Stoner when Lorenzo did.
Qatar has never really seemed to be one of Pedrosa's strong tracks despite getting commendable results, so to see him do so well here is promising.
Also, I am not a big Stoner fan, but I do feel sympathy for him because I doubt he would back off and not challenge for the win if he really did not have some sort of issue- It happened to Dani last year at the same event, albeit a different type of injury.
