I read an interesting article about the two new front options that were being developed. This one that is being introduced was the softer of the two, the other having more structural rigidity. It was suggested in the article that the reason Stoner voted opposite to everyone else is that the more rigid tyre was more difficult and he believes he can ride a more difficult tyre better than anyone else a la Mick Doohan.
However with the comments that came from Honda over the Qatar weekend about their chatter being worse with more grip then maybe that is the real reason...
Either way i think this season is shaping up to be a good one. Although it still doesn't seem as exciting as it used to be... I was watching some classic races yesterday, reminded me why we need Rossi to be competitive to get some entertaining racing going on!
