I'm not convinced the bean counters of Wolfsburg will get overly involved with motogp matters, but let's not forget, it's not VW Group but Audi Stuttgart that has bought Ducati, there is a difference..Audi buying indicate the racing heritage is SAFE !! Especially as Ducati motogp is quite unique in that the riders salaries are paid directly by Philip Morris..as much as Rossi 'filters' that aspect elsewhere, it's the only way they could afford him.
