@Realist. Correct. It used to be owned by Texas/Pacific who own amongst others DelMonte. The man from TPG says "yes" then "no" and sold it back to an Italian group when they had made a nice profit.
It's not been that bad a deal for Lamborghini being owned by AG.
..and Ducati's build quality which has been improving hand over fist in recent years can only get better under Audi control. (win/win?)
