It isn't a matter of being significantly faster, but rather an issue of having "different" riding styles. Witnessing Rossi battle Stoner in the past was exhilarating, and they were both just fast as one another (which resulted in some really good battles).

Rossi will be welcomed somewhere. Whether or not it's a factory, satellite or privateer ride remains to be seen.

What is YOUR definition of "better"? "Better" is an unquantifiable subjective metric. I've owned GSXR's, ridden CBR's and don't like the ergonomics of the Yamaha bikes, and my track/race-prepped 848 was/is "better" than all of the bikes that I have ridden thus far. I still have yet to experience the S1kRR and RSV4 however.
