not that it matters anymore now that V-dub has come to the rescue, i believe the door is still open and a factory bike is available at honda. if only because big red has the cash to cover him and jeremy's salaries with little regard for ROI. when sales started trending downward, yamaha (despite all they and VR/46 had accomplished together) had no choice but to be pragmatic. if consumers were there and doing their part to "close the loop" on the economics of all this, i have no doubt the rossi/yam dynasty would still be powering along intact.
