It hasn't so far. Giving the time scales of this season I doubt there're going to find 1.5seconds per lap just like that.
I'm still not 100% sure if the blame is a 50: 50 between the bike and the rider. But it's hard to believe a rider can lose his skills and drive after 1 season, but at the same time it's hard to believe Ducati can produce a bike based on feed bike that STILL isn't up the job.
As much as I'd like it to work, I seriously have my doubts that it ever will.
Personal opinion: Rossi needs his old bike back ( but that's his own fault for throwing the toys out the pram at Jorge ( if those news reports are to be believed)
