Ducati would be stubborn to think that changing to an aluminium frame would suddenly cure the Ducs issues immediately. Honda and Yamaha have years of experience with this design. Ducati have always gambled on being different (trellis frame and v-twin in super bike) and there have been years where this has worked in MotoGP and years where it has not. To finish off, Stoner won on a carbon fibre chassis with control Bridgestone tyres in 2009 and 2010 and so far with all the changes made to suit Mr 46 he has failed to impress on the Ducati. I think that Rossi, like Marco, Elias, etc just don't jell with this bike and he will need to change manufacture to win races again.
