Kirk66 and MM know the drill. 1. The Bridgestones are difficult tyres to ride, but with lots of grip. The SBK Pirelli's have less, so fewer chassis woes and are easier to ride. This promotes better racing. 2. It's taken BMW 4 years for their SBK to be competitive. CRT bikes will take 2 years before they reach their potential. 3. NOTHING will be like the 2 stroke era due to fuel restrictions and electronics. Sliding & bucking is all over. It's got nowt to do with 800 or 1000 engines. 4. Superbike will devolve closer to WSTK (like BSB) so suddenly WSBK won't be quite so quick, and then CRT will comfortably be the faster of the two. Everything is relative and money is tight. As people have said, Moto2 & WSS provides amazing racing. You don't need 240bhp and a 10 million budget for entertainment!
