"Many Yamaha team members already know Stoner well and with Spies making a mockery of the factory machine, look out for the two top riders in the same team for 2013!"
@Head2Head. It seems logical to assume that teams would love and benefit from having both of the current top riders in their squad, but in reality it rarely works out well.
The best combination for success is almost always having 1 rider capable of winning the WC, and a another fast (though not quite as fast) rider capable of taking substantial and valuable points to aid in winning the constructors title.
Throughout history, there's a myriad of examples of what can go wrong when you have 2 proven world beaters in the same team.
Having said that, I agree it would be hard to turn Casey/Jorge away if they came knocking at the door of Yamaha/Honda.
