Dani seems far more commited this year to the WC and not the overal WIN's. He has not done a full season in GP (bar his first in 06) without starting/ending or midway through getting a serious injury.
Yesterday the conditions were all over the place the amazing Moto3 and sublime Moto 2 races showed the track was very, iffy at the last turn and turn 9 that was holding water. Out in the front he did not want to be the Pioneer who then get shot with arrows and injures himself. he played a cautious game and got a 3rd better that then falling off no points and injuring himself again. The WC is long and 9 points is nothing with 16 races to go. I am sure he is mad he did not push but he looks far wiser and focused this year (I am sure Stoner has helped focus him) Go Dani for the WC it is about time and well deserved.
How fast was Cal though!! He could (dare i say it) get a podium or two this year (No doubt with one eye on spies factory bike for next year!!)
