@apples and oranges i'm not saying laverty isn't good, just trying to see how someone can say laverty is better than cal when cal has the better results, I don't think its a matter of being better i think its choice. in 2006 laverty came 3rd and cal won the british supersport championship, in 2007 laverty decided to go to 250 gp and cal went to bsb, 2008 they both stayed where they were, so then in 2009 they both went to wss. we know how that ended, cal moved to wsbk and laverty stayed, and so on..... so if laverty went to bsb instead of 250 gp would he be in moto gp now, and the answers to my own questions i dont have are why did he go to 250's and not bsb, did he have offers? was he not wanted or did he want to try and make it on the world stage. laverty is only 25 so he has alot of time left to go to gp, and with the 1000's he now has the same experience as riders like rossi, stoner etc that all raced 1000's for the first time this year so who knows what will happen
