"Since all bikes have the same engine,"
So how do they do that then, get one engine to power forty something bikes at the same time???????
What you meant to say was that all the bikes have engines to the same spec, anyone with any mechanical knowledge at all will know that is a completely different thing!
Then make the effort and go to the FIM web-site and read up on rules for Moto 2 and see what hoops a team has to jump through to get an engine changed if they're not happy with it's power output and you will soon realise that Moto 2 is certainly MORE equal but there is still a lot of scope for a rider to have a faster machine.
OR, just be a tube and hit the disagree button even when you don't have a clue, I s'pose it's easier!
