Somebody mentioned earlier that Vermin 'fluked' a WSBK championship he didnt, he hasn't won a WSBK championship. Many, many years ago, whilst he was on the TenKate bike I thought that he was one of the brightest prospects however, in Motogp Vermin was never given the equipment to demonstrate his potential. I lost respect for him when I went to Portimao to see him ride the ZX10R only for him to pull over in practice and not ride again. He deprived fans and, another racer of a ride. He dropped Tom Sykes in it from a big height leaving him as a rookie and the only one to develop the bike. He dropped the team in it. Surely he must have known before he turned up for the first race of the year that he was unfit to ride? Hope he goes well though.
