Great picture. The track is the only place Stoner feels safe and it is very unlikely he will retire any time soon.
There is no getting away from the abuse ever, because of who he is, retired on not. He's bound to miss the safety net racing offers him, plus the chance to show up his detractors by bagging more trophies.
Besides, his kid is not old enough to remember the glory days and there is nothing more sad than being told about your father's life story from newspaper clips accumulated over the years.
He's not going anywhere.
