Good post as concerns #46. I truly do not begrudge Casey his accomplishments on the Ducati. However, considering what a dog it was when #46 climbed on it, it will be Rossi's, Jeremy's Burgess's and Ducati's greatest triumph if they were eventually to mould the red monster into a sweet winner. If Valentino was then to take even only one other championship on it, it would in my estimation count for much more than all the other 9 put together. I have the feeling that were HRC to offer Casey's ride to him next year, it is ambition which would prevent Rossi from ever leaving Ducati.
