That's a gross exaggeration that other riders can't slide for speed and only for fun. That's what I mean about people putting too much emphasis on Stoner's sliding. Our national series' here in the U.S. have plenty of examples of fast cornering power slides, and these guys are not at the GP level. Most riders just don't ride that way, but that doesn't mean Stoner's style is "better" (or the others are inferior) just because he chooses to do so. Then again, I guess it's a matter of opinion. Opinion is not fact however.
