I agree Dacron et al. Rossi is driven by wanting to break all records so 8 premier class WC and 122 wins. He is currently contemplating the Ducati and as you say if the engine which is really the big question mark now (with the chassis having been altered completely) does not perform I think he may depart as he has tried everything else. He said Brno so I wait with baited breath. As for the situation with Stoner, I think he may well of known what was wrong and tried to convey it but did not have the clout to get it done. Having said that the bike went backwards and he never came close to winning the WC after 2007 and there are question marks to this day around tyres etc in 2007. People talk about Stoner getting off one day having romped and Rossi going nowehere the next day. Well comparing a guy that had 4 years exp and 2 on CF to one starting cold is obviously going to produce that kind of result.
