3 out of the top 4 finishers were Hondas, so they weren't struggling too much. The winner was perhaps not so much a Yamaha as a Lorenzo.
Some time ago Casey said that MotoGP was in trouble because the rules are constantly being changed and some stability needs to be maintained. This was before he retired so no wonder he is somewhat despondant.
As for the tyres, everyone is setting their fastest laps on the 2nd,3rd, or 4th lap and then degradation sets in. Something is wrong here, and if they have to bring out different tyres for different tracks this won't be benefitting road bikes in the future. As for asymetric tyres?? words fail me.
