I ride bikes on the road only, never done a track day or pushed a bike anywhere near its limits so I am not qualified to talk rubber. What I do know is that you feel comfortable on some bikes and not on others. To go your fastest and push the limit, I imagine you need to feel comfortable? The 800's suited Stoner's style of riding more than the 1000's (opinion only) from observing the races thus far compared to last year. In my opinion, unless Honda fix the bike and reduce chatter and tire degradation, Stoner will struggle to win the championship this year.
