Nobody (except Philip Morris) wants to spend advertising dollars on a team that will never feature on TV. Who wouldn’t want to see Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW and Aprilia and maybe even KTM in MotoGP? My Money is still on a Michael Jordan/Kevin Schwantz/Pepsi/Suzuki squad. But Ezpelata’s crew is failing miserably to attract sponsorship money to the series. And perpetually medling with the rules is keeping them away in droves! Perhaps he needs to do lunch with Bill France and learn a few things about promotion! My god if Nascar can flourish in this economy why in the heck can’t MotoGP?
