It was actually Liam48, who believes Spies is blaming his tires for his finish at Germany. Spies clearly attributed his troubles to missing on the optimum set up, which gave him a lack of edge grip and acceleration. Only the poor writing by the author implies that the tires themselves were any issue, not Spies. But I suppose factual reporting of what a rider said is too difficult for some and doesn't provide the conflict some desire. Rather shady if you ask me. It makes things even worse when people read and believe it was said by the rider, which in this case it was assumed or interpreted by this author and not a direct quote.
