At last a little honesty in that he admits to trying too hard. But he's still not getting it. Ducati have been accused of thinking that the bike is the important thing and the riders just meat machines to get the bike to the flag. Fair enough, that may be true. However Hayden goes the other way. He clearly expects the bike and tyres to perform 100% so he can do his job. Eight races on that bike and tyre package and he's still whinging about the tyres going off after every race. Nicky, old son, everybody was complaining about the durability of the tyres pre season. Everybody knows that the D16 is hard on tyres. What does that tell you is going to happen with those tyres on that bike? Yes it's a ****ter, but that's what you've got to ride.
