Actually the rule makers look very dimly on anti-competitive practices such as contracts that refer to other riders. For example a contract that stated when other riders were allowed updates would not be allowed, nor would a contract that stipulated who else was allowed a factory bike. I mention the latter because I know somebody on here mentioned that Lorenzo had a "no Rossi" clause in his 2013 contract.
Also Yamaha would be pretty stupid to agree to either clause. What if Lorenzo was off form and his team mate right on it, would they still want to give Lorenzo all the best bits? What if Lorenzo was injured early in the season, would they want a third rate rider in the other factory seat?
In the first case think of Pedrosa and Stoner right now? If you were Honda would you want to be bound by a contract that says Stoner gets all the best bits?
