to the gentlemen who is new to motorcycling.
the sound, the smell, the feel, the spirit of the two stroke is what makes it incredible. yes, the power to weight is awesome. yes, the maintenance or lack of it is awesome. replacing a piston ring and crank seals instead of doing cams, buckets, valve springs, shims, etc every weekend is amazing.
but truly, it is harder to ride, to keep it on the pipe, to keep it on song, and to understand how the pipe hits when there's no powervalve, etc.. it's incredible and to me it's the only way to really experience a motorcycle.
i may be a 'young fart' at 29 years, but i have old fart mentality when it comes to motorcycles and gp racing.
