Can't deny the guy knows how to race a bike at the limit. He's as fast as **** and only one to succeed on the Ducati and look how he got on with the Honda in his 1st year on a bike designed around Dani for several years. Size and stature probably helped but all the slow mo's on how the bike moves around we know he can ride.
I do agree he moans far too much and that doesn't help people take to him. far too much whinging and whining for my liking but i don't let that rule what I can see and know.
He is fast and will be a loss but in sooo many ways he's right. MotoGP has been going down the toilet for the past few years and the CRT bikes are far from competitive or comparable. Peter Clifford's WCM team tried the CRT route a few years back with the R1 derived project but they got tossed out as not a prototype.
CRT should be a Factory engine in whatever chassis you build ala King Kenny & Moriwaki RCV engined bikes. Performance would be on a par and help the series grow.
