its interesting how many posters have missed this obvious point when they are quick to call VR and/or yamaha frauds. His results may not have been great for a few years but his record means he is still the biggest commercial asset in the sport, his persona also plays a large part in this.
Contracts are not drawn up on results alone, some may not like this but it does not stop it being a fact.
