Rossi had both wheels in the dirt, which means he technically cut a corner. Why? Because he out-braked himself and made an error.
Stoner actually had to go very, very wide to avoid contact at the end of the corkscrew.
It's old news to me since I know what really happened, but Rossi fans like to perpetuate fallacies.
There are very few places at Laguna in which to make clean passes - especially on a GP bike.
Just a few weeks ago, Stoner made 2 great passes on Dani and Jorge at Laguna.
Remember the pass Rossi made on Stoner Phillip Island 2009? Probably because it never happened. Rossi couldn't use the best GP ever produced to make a pass on Stoner riding arguably the worst GP bike, while sliding around every corner.
These last 2 seasons have definitely served up a lot of crow for Rossi fans. I hear it tastes better with hot sauce as I've had to eat crow for many, many years as a Casey Stoner fan.
