FWIW - I was in front of the podium at Donington in '08, and the booing of CS was disgusting. I can also confirm that all the ones I saw doing it were in Rossi gear. Another VR Fan fave is that "CS can run away in front, but can't race". Yet, on a track where apparently it's one-line & no grip, Stoner put in some solid overtaking moves in the bends. Even disregarding a bad injury from the day before (& btw, ligament damage is far more painful and takes longer to heal than broken bones do, and yes I have had both). I'd have thought that yesterday's performance by CS should have drawn respect from any racing fan. Given some of the posts on here, all I can say is that those negative and sniping posts just show that those posters aren't racing fans at all. Motorcycle racing doesn't need people like you - perhaps (with luck) when Stoner & Rossi are gone, perhaps these 'people' will go back to being football (soccer) supporters.
