Not only did Suter bring a number of new frames for their riders last week, Marquez had three continuous days of testing and development before the summer break while Luthi was there for the last day. It's pointless trying to persuade people who've already made their minds up. Ignorance and certainty are a common combination. We'll see how Smith gets on next year. He's beaten various team mates by a good margin for the majority of the races while he's been at Tech 3, including an ex-world champion. I was pleased to see Simon back near the front at Indianapolis. Do people think he'd forgotten how to ride after winning the 125 championship and being 2nd in the first season of Moto2, or can they see there are factors which mask a rider's potential if you look at their finishing position alone?
