How about forget CRTs and place a 1 million Euro price tag on any 2 year old kit from MotoGP. With stipulation it would have to be raced, etc. This would enable someone (privateers) to be somewhat competitive for a while at least. Also, the rules would need to be written such that these purchased bikes would be able to be used at least 2 years following purchase, so maybe a 6 year rules freeze? Serioulsy, just run what ya' brung and let the boys race for a change.
