re: "shaman, No, I don't mean repave Indy. Indy has had its chance, and they didn't do what was necessary. Instead they chose not to spend the necessary funds to fix the track. Case closed."
i never cease to be amazed how the reoccuring theme of short term memory continues to "afflict" the motorcycle fan (unbelievable). to address concerns, they (indy) paved portions of the track just LAST year. to further address concerns they (indy) hosted grand-am on the road course THIS year. these are not the actions of a track owner indifferent. the problems that occured at indy '12 have their origins with us. that's right US...! in our infinite wisdom WE added a whopping 200cc's over the winter to a prototype formula. that's like adding 400cc's to wsbk or nitrous to street kit. see, the only 990 that's ever rode a turn at indy is mammola and the pillion D16. now how on GOD's GREEN is a track owner to blame when WE'RE the ones who went and moved the goal posts...? case opened.
