Tire war and Bridgestone/Ducati 2007. The Bridgestones were good at the fly away rounds, yet Michelin, given the number ratio concluded a vastly superior season. 2nd and 3rd in the championship I believe with about 6 bikes shod with them. No I havn't checked the whole deal, but the trend is about right.
Capirossi was huge for Ducati during their infancy.
I can't praise him enough for his efforts.
Rossi at Ducati has been,well...a has been.
Capirex at Rossi's age wrang the D16's neck week in and week out and won, podiumed legit with it many times.
Let's put it this way. Should the Ducati museum stick up posters of their all time greats on their bikes,Loris has to stand head and shoulders above their greatest loser of all time..Valentino Rossi.
