I'm not impressed with him and don't understand the people who say it's a good performance. 8th place and the points look good, but he was the last of non-CRT bikes, with the best bike of the grid. In the light he beat all of his team-mates in World Superbike since his first year, and making Aoyama look a beginner, I would expect him battling much closer to the front. If this were his first weekend, with trashed practice sessions, I could understand it, but he had two tests. And in case Honda wanted someone to just circle around, why they didn't put Akiyoshi or another test rider on the bike?
