petrolbonce - Gotta nitpick a bit about your comment. Bautista's bike right now is far from semi-factory. The satellite riders might have started the year with the same basic setup as the Repsol guys, but it became clear very quick that the fact Gresini is using Showa instead of Ohlins is causing the team some major issues. While the LCR team with Bradl can use the plenty of data from the factory team and previous years, the Gresini team had to start from zero. So I think Bautista has been doing pretty well with the material he's got. Concerning a comparison as to what Simoncelli might have done this year, that's always futile. And seeing how many front end crashes he had in MotoGP, a lack of front feeling with the Showa like Bautista cited so often, probably wouldn't have helped his hypothetical statistics either.
