Kinda funny what Val said about how guys are talking contracts after the 3rd or 4th race. Really funny how after a rider can be up on the sharp end and after signing with another team his pace drops off dramatically.
Just coincidence I am sure. No way the factory boys would stop giving 100% support to a rider just because he is moving to a different team or retiring all together.
A buddy told me after round 4 he expected Casey to retire this year. And after hearing Stoner say he was having problems with the bike and HRC was telling him he was fast and not to worry about it I really do not blame him.
Until the manufacturers sell, not lease the bikes to teams like in the "golden years" there will never, ever be any real racing in MotoGP.
