@CRT you are wrong. For two bikes of the same weight but different power outputs the percentage difference in power to weight ratio would be exactly the same between two riders of different weights. The difference caused by rider weights in MotoGP is ever so slightly less than in Moto2 not because of the power output but because the bikes are 12% heavier. However I still don't agree with these combined weight limits because they constitute a form of handicapping for something over which the riders have little control.
