@ya never know Got any sources for this or are you just repeating unfounded rumours?
The RCV powered fireplace rumours have been around as long as the RCV. They are resurfacing now because Honda have announced plans to build a "supersports bike based on motogp technology". Honda themselves are talking about another RC30, not a replacement for the fireplace. Under today's rules the RC30 would not qualify for WSB.
The rumours of Honda quitting GPs and concentrating on superbikes have been around as long as WSB.
As for the rumours of Honda quitting GPs they are as old as the hills and less interesting. They are so popular because of something that most of the people repeating the rumours probably don't even remember. Once upon a time Honda did quit when the FIM introduced rules limiting the number of cylinders and gears in each class. Because of that every time the rules haven't suited Honda since they return somebody has started a rumour that Honda would quit.
