@ there there now "Superbikes are faster than CRT & cheaper"?? Faster yes, Cheaper HELL NO!!! A CRT MotoGP bike is slower because MotoGP has engine limitations, even with an extra engine allowance meaning CRT's get 12 engines for a year they are slower because they have to be de-tuned to a degree to make them last that long. WSB engines last 1 race MAXIMUM. On a race weekend top teams will use up to 4 engines depending on how much track time they get. A brand new engine is used for qualifying and another one for the race. Even lower ranked teams will use at least 2 new engines with the qualifying engine from the previous race used during free practice. Sad fact is that for a top team WSB is significantly more expensive than a MotoGP CRT.
