If there was no MotoGP, I really wouldn't care. It's a chore to watch. Think about it - what sticks in you mind this season? A few qualifying incidents? Some super slow-mo images they put on during the race to show what you can't see? I mean, the race winning pass at mugello was the first corner! Dorna are scrabbling because they see that this format has been dying for some years and will soon consume itself. The Italian tv channel that switched to wsb last year told its own tale. For sure, the two support classes are fantastic and the premier class has to be shaken, or they will all disappear. No nostalgia or sentiment is applicable, as the sport exists to entertain. Which it fails roundly to accomplish.
