Moto2 & Moto3 both have waaaaay more consistent lead group battles simply due to the bikes being fairly matched. WSBK may be experiencing a similar disparity amongst its many manufacturer supported teams, but is contesting too closely with GP on terms of technology not present on the showroom floors. Thought it was very interesting how some SBK teams use 39 engines per season!!! Between that & rider/mechanics salaries & other expenses!! Holy Cow!! A top SBK team must cost more to run than many GP squads. Hate to say it, but if the factories want to sell more GSXRs, CBRs, R1s & ZXs, maybe SBK is the better brand market. These street based machines are not a far cry from GPs to the average "Joe" shopping rice rockets. They both go way too fast for the street.
