Once again Spies is toying with the rest of the field. This has all been engineered to make him look weak, when in fact he's just having a well earned rest before next year when he'll be fully fit and paddock consensus is that Spies is the man to ride the Duke - some knowledgeable insiders are saying he'll be better on it than Stoner.
