The best drifting at Phillip Island was McCoy at turn 12 on the Kwaka. Insane. The Michelin Specials were tyres created overnight at the factory to suit the predicted weather for the race and qualifying. The data from practice and qualifying was used to determine the best compound. Dunlop was based in Japan and could not provide the same service at every round. Still people calling Stoner a quitter. He is retiring, not leaving something unfinished which is the definition of quitting. We all know who is quitting and changing teams because he couldn't win on a bike after two years of development and millions of dollars wasted.
