@Tcrook21 talk sense. You don't even know the rules do you? If Spies had decided simply not to ride for the last three rounds without his being signed off as unfit to race he could have been penalized. That could have included a fine or even a ban for several races. Not only that but as several people have pointed out with regards to Vinales walking out on a contract really lowers your stock. Who's going to want to sign a contract with a rider who walks out on a contract? No matter what people think of Ben he is a professional. He wouldn't walk out on a contract because he's aware of the potential consequences.
