There are plenty of good young Aussie riders. The biggest problem we have is the Superbikes being split into two. The ASBK and FX championships. This has diluted the TV coverage, sponsorship and fan base for what should be a single championship and the pinnacle of domestic racing. Somebody with a big wad of money needs to recombine both championships. But we keep producing quality riders who go to Europe and struggle to get decent rides. For every rider that manages to get a good ride, two or three equally talented riders end up back in Australia or in second rate teams. I think the introduction of Moto2 and Moto3 will help tremendously as two or three year old bikes will start to trickle down to the domestic series.
