A 3 cylinder once got pole on P.I. It is the ability to keep middle corner speed as high as possible that makes a good lap at P.I. The CRT's should be able to mix it up with prototypes on tracks like P.I. and Assen where acceleration is not so important. When you have CRTs lapping slower than Aussie Superbikes on the same weekend, and they are not far from 1000 Superstock specs, then the bike is at fault, not the formula.
