Well, my father and I have been around the world following MotoGP and other forms of bike racing. My father was a mechanic for the Norton teams at the I.O.M in the late 50's. I have been attending Grand Prix for over 50 years. I have seen the best in the different eras and for pure speed and commitment I have seen nobody, even Rossi at his best, that matches Stoner. Rossi totally dominated the riders he had against him for the first 11 or so years of his career. He never had other's approach his skill till Lorenzo and Pedros and Stoner appeared. Any of those three would have dominated the likes of Gibbernau, Biaggi and Barros. I would loved to have seen Rossi against Doohan for a season or two. That would have been an interesting test for Rossi.
