Almost a balanced post for you, however you have a small but important point misrepresented - Stoner uses less traction control than anyone else on the grid. He uses manual throttle control, a skill learned from dirt track racing.
The traction control junkie is Valentino "This upgrade on my M1 is so good, it's almost like cheating". The Ducati electronics aren't as good as the Yamaha. Probably another cause of the mis-match of Rossi with Ducati.
